CCHS preseason swim team workouts began on Monday, Sept. 19th, 3:15-4:45, Monday through Thursday. Workouts will consist of both swim training and dry land fitness. Swim training objectives will include: improving technical swimming abilities, building an aerobic base, improving strength in the upper-body, lower-body, and core. Dry land fitness routines will follow swimming. Exercises will be designed to build core muscles, increase lower body power and upper body strength and flexibility, and improve overall fitness. We will provide swimmers with the best possible preparation for the upcoming high school season.Hope to see you at the pool if you are not involved in a fall sport!
